Бесплатную музыку в этом году можно услышать на пяти сценах. Самая большая из них — Montreux Jazz Cafe, на которой регулярно появляются в качестве хедлайнеров гости двух «больших» сцен — Auditorium Stravinsky и Miles Davis Hall. Жизнь здесь начинается около 9 часов вечера и продолжается заполночь. В этом году здесь отметятся, в частности, сердитые шведские девушки из First Aid Kit, нежные электропоповые мальчики Citizens! , танцующие на отрыв англичане Django Django и уникальные экспериментаторы Four Tet.

«It is with great pleasure and a sense of achievement that I present to you the programme for the \’Off\’ stages at the Montreux Jazz Festival.
Music In The Park, which enjoys the best spot to play open air; and the Workshops which provide opportunities to approach musicians at work while on other stages no less intimate, one can watch and listen to the voice competitions. And of course let\’s not forget The Studio, a magical place for nights of electronic dance music which, this year, is housed in the Petit Palais at the Montreux Palace.
Drawing up the programme for these very different venues is the result of team work and of a tight collaboration among our staff. It is with Michaela Maiterth that I invite the artists to perform at the Miles Davis Hall or Auditorium Stravinski, while the Montreux Jazz Café is the realm of Alexandre Edelmann and David Torreblanca. Claudia Regolatti is in charge of Music In The Park, while Michel Catanese and Saniha Ozem are experts on which DJs to invite and Stéphanie Aloysia Moretti commissions the artists at Foundation 2. Finally, Willy Zumbrunnen is responsible for inviting the bands that play on the boats and the train. As well as providing pleasure for the eyes and ears, the Montreux Jazz Festival also endeavours to look after your well-being across the whole site by ensuring its terraces and various stands remain clean and maintained; it has also paid particular attention to the Festival\’s lighting, thereby improving driving conditions and making this event even more beautiful.

From 8:30pm, the Festival offers you the opportunity to watch mythical archive concerts. From 22:30 pm, up-and-coming international groups take the stage: pop, folk, soul, funk, hip-hop… any style goes.

The Studio / Cocktail Garden
See you at the Montreux Palace’s Petit Palais from 8pm to share a drink in the Cocktail Garden. The Fondation 2 has naturally decided to dedicate its competitions to the greatest musical hopefuls worldwide, in order to support those who will be making the music of tomorrow: Parmigiani Piano Solo Competition and Shure Voice Competition.
